Experts recommend networking with professional societies to discuss the impact of the proposed regulations, reviewing the proposals as published and sending in comments. 

Facility managers should also take a close look at how the proposal deviates from the familiar Life Safety Code, the article said. Also, they should take a second look at existing processes to see how the proposed testing changes might impact your facilities.
