Winston Salem, NC - Kaba Access and Data Systems (ADS) Americas is pleased to announce the addition of BioGard Pro to its product portfolio. BioGard Pro combines the LA GARD ComboGard Pro Safe Lock with the AX.S Embedded Access Control System and I.AM Biometric Fingerprint Key to create a comprehensive system that protects assets while tracking and capturing data. The solution can be stand-alone or as part of a single- or multi-branch AX.S Access Control System.
This new solution offers businesses, especially banks or retail stores, a concrete way to ensure that only authorized users access a safe or cash recycler while recording every event. A specially designed cable connects the ComboGard Pro Safe Lock to the Access Manager, creating the link between access control system and the lock. Users present their finger to Biometric Reader and with a valid read the Fingerprint Reader sends a signal to the Combo Gard Pro that enables it to accept a PIN. Simultaneously, the access control database captures when and who accessed the lock. BioGard Pro will debut at the BAI Retail Delivery Exposition, November 5-7, 2013, Denver, CO.
