Video interview discusses the issues associated with providing a safe environment for patients with memory and other issues


Campus Safety magazine conducted a video interview with Martin Green, president-elect for the International Association for Security & Safety, on the issues associated with providing a safe environment for patients with memory and other challenges.

There are more elderly patients being treated at hospitals and long-term care facilities and there the increased need to address the safety and security challenges associated with this trend, the article said.

Green is also the manager of security, communications and emergency preparedness at Baycrest Health Sciences in Toronto, Canada.
