Looking beyond the traditional clinic

Health services are branching out to alternative sites

No longer restricted to the brick-and-mortar setting of a traditional clinic building, healthcare services are going where the patients are — in the workplace, the retail store, the community hub and the home, according to an article on the Medical Construction & Design website.

• Wellness centers

• Employee health centers
