Ohio hospital boosts security after staffer abducted from parking lot

Woman was taken to a location off the hospital's campus and sexually assaulted


An employee of Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, was abducted while walking from a parking lot to the hospital, according to an article on the Campus Safety website.

Police said a woman walking toward a hospital was abducted by a man with a knife and sexually assaulted.

Aultman has three large parking lots across the street from its main building.

A hospital spokesperson said security will be increased around the institution’s campus.
