Oklahoma hospital adjusting to campus expansion

Construction project triples the square footage of the St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital campus


St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital in Shawnee, Okla., recently tackled moving day after a construction project tripled the square footage of its campus, according to an article on News-Star website.

The new construction is a 119,000 square-foot, three-story additionthat houses the new Women's Center intensive care unit, and surgical services.

The hospital moved three departments into its new west tower. 

Adjustments to ease the transition to a much larger campus include benches strategically placed down some of the longer corridors to better accommodate patients and visitors.
