Outdoor LED signs can promote community

Signage can promote a facility's mission, enhance a sense of community and disseminate of new, timely information

Outdoor LED signage can promote a senior care facility's mission, enhance a sense of community and disseminate of new, timely information, according to an article on the McKnight's website.

Long-term care decisions requires clear information that will foster peace of mind. There are many services available to patients in a care facility and they create the need for effective communication.

For instance, Constitution Health Plaza in Philadelphia put the finishing touches on renovations at the former St. Agnes Hospital. Renovations were capped by the installation of a new LED digital sign on a 30-foot tall, stand-alone monument. The sign's visibility to road and pedestrian traffic helps patients define the hospital's location and clarify the offerings it provides.

LED signage helps CHP display detailed messages about services and also reach out to community organizations, giving them the chance to have their messages included on the digital sign, the article said.
