A Paris hospital has deployed wayfinding kiosks to enhance visitors' experience and reduce the need for staff to direct wanderers.
Lariboisière Hospital has installed a network of 20 full- and semi-outdoor digital wayfinding LCD kiosks, according to an article in Digital Signage Today.
The wayfinding units are meant to enhance visitors' experience and reduce their stress levels in the large complex. The kiosks will also as reduce the need for employees' to direct lost visitors, according to manufacturer Infinitus.
Each unit will show the exact orientation of the user in the complex and provide additional phone numbers and contact information.
Infinitus is an EU-based specialist developer of bespoke outdoor LCD systems under the brand name imotion.
