Patient at Overlake Medical Center not linked to University of Washington Medical Center
A patient at another Washington hospital was diagnosed with Legionnaires’ disease, according to an article on the Public Health Insider website.
The case, from Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, is not linked to those at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle.
Overlake is conducting an environmental assessment throughout the facility.
The Legionnaires’ outbreak at the University of Washington Medical Center has been linked to ice machines and sinks.
