Patients evacuated when Camp Fire damages Adventist Health Feather River Hospital

A trio of wildfires has devoured tens of thousands of acres in California, killing at least 42 people


In Northern California, the Camp fire damaged Adventist Health Feather River Hospital in the town of Paradise, which has been leveled by the fire, according to an article on the Healthcare Finance News website.

Butte County Sheriff's Deputies helped evacuate patients as the roof burned. So far the fire has killed 42 people.

A hospital spokesperson said all patients were safely evacuated and the lower level of the hospital was damaged, though not destroyed. 

The upper level and several of the other buildings remain standing, including the ED, OB, Outpatient Surgery Center, Cancer Center, Home Health and Sleep Medicine area.
