Radically reducing cost for healthcare TVs

Healthcare facilities are always looking for ways to cut costs.  At the same time, these facilities are trying to make patients as comfortable as possible.  There is a trend away from the functional, sterile, institutional look in patient rooms, towards a more homelike, welcoming atmosphere.

Healthcare TVs have become a specialty item, however, and its cost is considerably higher than a standard TV.  This is because manufacturers build additional electronics into the TV set to allow the pillow speaker to control the television and transmit the audio back to the patient.

There is another solution.

The Paradigm Multimedia HC20 Interface Technology will save a hospital or skilled nursing facility  considerable dollars over a specialty healthcare TV.

This is done by providing an installation kit (about the size of a deck of cards) and connecting it to an existing TV or one that can be purchased inexpensively from a myriad of TV suppliers.    This purchasing option creates an effective, low-cost healthcare TV solution without the need to purchase expensive specialty models.  The healthcare facility can purchase their own LCD/LED TV at the best price they can find, purchase the Paradigm Multimedia HC20 separately, and easily install it themselves.  These installation kit options comply with NFPA99 and NEC in a patient room environment, and meet all federal standards for safety.
