The expansion of the healthcare Internet of Things creating challenges


As healthcare facilities improve their healthcare Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure, network connections can be a challenge, according to an article on the Health IT Infrastructure website.

While the IoT has improved patient care, there eventually may be too many devices for a facility's network to handle. 

Facillties also need to figure out how to make connected devices available throughout the facility and beyond to telehealth programs.

A wireless vendor can help assess the healthcare facility, plan where access points need to be placed, and conduct a wireless site survey to see where connectivity is the weakest.
