Savannah hospital unveils $1 million kitchen

Memorial University Medical Center cafe has new furnishings, lighting, flooring and millwork


The Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Ga., recently opened its renovated Memorial Health Café, which represents a $1.1 million investment by Morrison Healthcare Food Service, according to an article on the Savannah Now website.

The new café has new furnishings, lighting, flooring and millwork, as well as a new point-of sale system and electronic menus. 

“The cafe represents our commitment to healthy options, fresh fare and contemporary cuisine,” said Bill Lee, Memorial Health’s senior vice president and chief strategy officer.
