Star Wars-esque robot can help deliver medicines and materials

A robot called Relay, already in use in the hospitality industry, has shown potential in healthcare facilities, according to an article on the Healthcare Finance website.

It was designed to help hospital staff with transporting and delivering medicines and materials.

Relay would actively roam the hospital hallways, coming into contact with patients and staff, the article said.

To make it less jarring to humans, the robot was designed to resemble the droids from the Star Wars movies.
