How medical scrubs and sheets are cared for and sterilized is becoming even more important than ever, according to the Textile Rental Services Association.

There are two opposing changes happening simultaneously that the textile industry needs to deal with, the article said.

The quality of linens sought is going down because clients are not going for higher-end products because everything is cost driven. But at the same time, there is a push for infection prevention and control, and thus an increase in need for anti-microbial offerings.
