The Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Mich., used process improvement exercises to help pinpoint problems in their wayfinding signage and communication, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. Among other things, they found that giving people correct parking information prior to their visit would solve many of the wayfinding challenges.
