New Delhi hospitals to end use of white linens


New Delhi hospitals are ending the use of white linens and starting to use color-coded sheets to ensure that bed linen is changed everyday and reduce hospital- borne infections, according to an article on the Deccan Chronicle website.

Officials say that adopting the color code for linen would improve the safety of hospital cleaning, ensure consistency provide clarity for staff and reduce hospital-borne infections.
