Tips for avoiding linen loss at healthcare facilities include:

• Radio frequency identification (RFID) tags that can be placed in linens

• A logo can be a deterrent for textiles to “leave” a healthcare facility

• Linen-dispensing machines can limit the amount of linen that one employee can pull from the dispensing unit at once
