Fortified Health Security (Fortified), a Best in KLAS managed security services provider (MSSP) specializing in healthcare cybersecurity, has announced the formation of the Fortified Advisory Board (FAB), a group of healthcare industry executives who share a common goal: Using their experience and expertise to address the IT and cybersecurity challenges facing hospitals and healthcare organizations today.
The FAB convenes representatives from healthcare organizations across the United States. The group comprises executive IT leaders, including chief information officers (CIOs) and chief information security officers (CISOs), as well as CTOs and ISOs. Each member brings a unique perspective and represents healthcare organizations of all sizes, from organizations that span the U.S. and major regional health networks to small, rural hospitals.
With a term length of twenty-four months, the FAB will meet quarterly to discuss emerging threats and vulnerabilities, review legislative and regulatory updates, and identify collaborative solutions for scaling and strengthening cybersecurity preparedness and resiliency in healthcare organizations.
