An investigation ties Coventry ’s University Hospital's fire safety problems to holes in fire compartment walls, according to an article on the Coventry Telegraph website.
The breaches in the £380million structure could affect how fire spreads around the U.K. hospital — and will be expensive to fix.
The issues identified relate to a number of holes in fire compartment walls, caused when piping and wiring were installed.
A report in a national newspaper said it will take two years and £47million to fix the mistakes made by contractors Skanska who were hired to build the hospitals.
