Several London hospitals have installed sanitizing door handles, according to an article on the Infection Control Today website.

The handles ensure users sanitize their hands as they open the door.

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the University Hospitals Lewisham NHS Trust in South East London have handles installed in sensitive areas such as neonatal intensive care units and various intensive care units. 

University College London Hospitals have handles installed across all wards.
