A private firm has been engaged to organize the logistics of getting patients from Sydney's Mona Vale and Manly Hospitals to the new Northern Beaches Hospital, according to an article on the 9News website.
The Transport Management Centre will look at synchronizing local traffic lights to give vehicles a "fast lane" to the new facility.
"Manly will move in one day, Mona Vale the next and it's down to three minute intervals for everything that needs to happen," CEO of the Northern Beaches Hospital, Deborah Latta, said in the article.
The $600 million Northern Beaches Hospital, has been described as "more like a hotel."
